Where do I even begin to start?

That’s how a lot of business owners feel, so don’t be put off from getting your business online by the overwhelm of it all!  It really is best to ask questions before you set out but, I know, there are so very many people, providers and businesses ready to convince you that their platform or service is the best, so how do you choose?

With over 20 years industry experience, I know a few things about websites and the industries involved in providing them.  From hosts to platforms (known as Content Management Systems or CMS), domain registrars to developers, designers, sales channels and advertisers, I’ve dealt with them all and picked out the best.

Working with all the major platforms and services in market (and some less well known), I am  not going to convince you to invest in one particular technology, provider or solution.  I WILL tell you what options I think are best for YOUR business but I have no technical limit or allegence to any of them.

I’m very happy to share my knowledge and experience with clients and business owners who need some clarity on the options and what route to go down. That’s why I offer a free initial consultation to anyone needing some guidance as they enter the digital jungle, whether it’s for the first time, or an intrepid revisit!

Getting in touch is easy! There are 5 different ways right here on this page but incase you don’t spot them, here’s another:

You will find lots of useful information and advice here on this website.  For starters here are my Top 5 things your website should do for your business, along with more about how a website should work for you.

Whatever platform you choose for your business, whether it’s WordPress, Wix, Weebly, SquareSpace, Shopify, or any other site builder or e-commerce platform, I can help you get it right.

How We Get Started

Taking the technical aspects like platform choice and hosting to one side for a moment, this is how a project usually starts: We take the time to understand your business, your customers and market.  This gives us some objectives and goals for a new website to achieve.

Then we turn to the content, considering that which you have already and decide what needs to be created.  When we talk about content – that’s all the information based elements of your website – the words, the pictures, any videos and so on.

When it comes to design, clients are involved every step of the way.  Whether you have a logo and branding or not, we work together to decide the most appropriate graphics, colours, layout and site navigation. Most clients seem to enjoy this part of the process as they see their new website coming to life. And then – the website is built – absolutely customised for you, your business objectives, customers and market audience.  Every project is different and just for the client.  Duplicating the same website for each customer with a few changes to customise it is not my style, and probably not yours either!
